Zoya PixieDust Collection

Happy Friday Everyone!

Today I am finally sharing my swatches of the Zoya PixieDust Collection. Please keep reading for more photos and details about these lovely polishes. :)

Each polish in this collection was swatched without a base coat or top coat. The Zoya website instructs users to avoid these because they will interfere with the textured finish. It is also mentioned that each coat has to fully dry before applying the next coat. Tricky tricky, right? ;)

All colors required 3 coats for full opacity. And the formula - although different from your regular polishes - is pretty easy to work with. These textured polishes are very similar to gritty glitters when it comes time to remove them, but I just soaked cotton pads in polish remover and let it sit on each nail for a few minutes and it came right off.

The last thing I'll mention is that the texture of this polish seems to act like those spray on bed liners for pickup trucks... it makes my nails so strong while wearing it! My nails have never been this long! I'm afraid it won't last once I start using regular nail polish again, but I digress. Onto the pretty polishes!!!

Nyx

London

I must have not let each coat dry fully on this one because it is still a bit shiny. Other than that, it is very pretty!

Dahlia

Similarly, this one didn't dry fully before the picture, but an hour or so later it looked a lot like glittery asphalt. This is one of my favorites!

Chyna

This polish is different from all the others because the glitter is red. The other 5 have the same silver glitter. Also, for some reason, the glitter settles to the bottom of the bottle. The other colors did not have this issue. I just shook the bottle really well and it applied just like the rest of the polishes.

Godiva

OH MY GOSH GODIVA! This is my most favorite polish from the entire collection. I love it. :)

  1. Godiva and Nyx are my favourites! Thanks for reviewing the entire collection :) It's making me reconsider my dislike for textured polishes!
